Tier 1 — Residential Services
60-Mile Residential Pickup Radius
Residential curbside pickup is available for eligible addresses within a 60-mile radius of our Bloomington base. This includes Bloomington, Normal, Colfax, Hudson, Lexington, Chenoa, and Heyworth. Enter your address when booking to confirm eligibility and your pricing zone.
Kernovate is listed in the Mattress Recycling Council's national directory as a certified drop-off and recycling location for Central Illinois. Every mattress we receive is manually deconstructed — steel, foam, fiber, and wood are all separated and sold to certified regional processors. Nothing we collect goes to landfill.

Residential Drop-Off
$10 per item
Schedule and pay online for a Bloomington drop-off at $10 per piece, with no pickup zone fee. Appointments are required, Monday through Saturday, 9 AM to 6 PM. Check your booking details for the current location and arrival instructions. We accept all sizes: twin, full, queen, king, and box springs.
Curbside Pickup
$10/piece + one zone fee · 60-mile radius
We come to you. Book online, set a pickup window, and place your mattress curbside. Our crew handles all the heavy lifting. Pricing is $10 per piece plus one distance-based zone fee: $20 up to 15 miles, $40 over 15 to 30 miles, $60 over 30 to 45 miles, or $80 over 45 to 60 miles.
Outside the 60-mile pickup radius? Enter your address when booking to check eligibility rather than relying on your city or county name. Residents outside the pickup area can schedule a Bloomington drop-off for $10 per piece, or contact us to discuss options. Businesses and institutions can arrange separate commercial freight logistics below.

Commercial and institutional accounts operate under a separate logistics framework — bulk freight transport with no geographic restriction. We serve universities, hotels, property managers, healthcare facilities, and municipalities across Central Illinois, including Champaign, Springfield, Peoria, and Decatur.
Our largest commercial partnership to date — processing 525+ units for the University of Illinois through Five Star American Services — demonstrates our capacity for high-volume institutional contracts. Every commercial account receives a certified recycling manifest documenting steel, foam, fiber, and wood recovery weights for ESG reporting and sustainability compliance.

Coordinated bulk pickups for high-volume replacement cycles — university move-outs, hotel rebranding, property portfolio turnovers. Freight logistics arranged end-to-end.
Recycling Certification
ESG & Compliance
Every commercial contract receives a signed recycling manifest with material weights by category — steel, foam, fiber, wood. Acceptable for ESG reports, municipal compliance filings, and sustainability audits.

We partner with cities and regional waste haulers to intercept mattresses from illegal dump sites, transfer stations, and community cleanup events — keeping them out of the landfill entirely.
BEDS Program — Beds Emergency Delivery Service
Free Bed Delivery for Families in Crisis
Inspected and sanitized mattresses that pass our quality threshold are deployed — free of charge — to households in crisis through a referral network of Continuum of Care agencies and certified case managers across McLean County.
BEDS is funded entirely by revenue from SPRINGS recycling operations. No family is ever charged. Referrals must come through an approved partner agency — individuals cannot self-refer.
