Kernovate is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit based in McLean County, Illinois. When you use our website to schedule a mattress recycling pickup or submit a BEDS Emergency Delivery Service referral, we collect personal information necessary to fulfill your request. This may include your name, email address, phone number, mailing address, and payment details. For BEDS referrals, partner agencies may also provide the client's name, phone number, household type, and delivery address. We collect this information solely to coordinate pickups, deliveries, and follow-up communications — we do not sell, rent, or share your personal data with third parties for marketing purposes.
How We Protect Your Data
All payment processing is handled securely through Stripe, a PCI-DSS Level 1 certified payment processor. Kernovate does not store your credit card or bank account numbers on our servers. Our website uses HTTPS encryption for all data in transit, and personal records are stored in a secured database with access restricted to authorized Kernovate staff only. We retain your information only as long as needed to provide our services, fulfill legal obligations, or resolve disputes.
